Position Summary
The School of Engineering and Applied Sciences (SEAS), Office of Graduate Education is welcoming applications for the Assistant Director of Recruitment Communications, Marketing and Engagement. The primary function of this position is to provide direct support to the Assistant Dean for Graduate Education and Chief Enrollment Officer and academic department Chairs and Directors of Graduate Study in their efforts with graduate (domestic and international) recruitment, admissions and communication strategies to enhance yield. In addition, the position provide support of admissions processing during cyclical periods of high volume. Expected tasks and activities includes, but are not limited to:
- Recruitment: seek out, engage, and respond to inquiries from prospective graduate students in person, by email, phone, or other digital medium to personalize the admissions process.
- Website and social media: Develop and implement a comprehensive social media recruitment strategy. Maintain and develop content for electronic communications (microsites, academic department websites, student profiles, admission/recruitment materials, Search Services such as: GRE; prospect cloud; GMAT, SEO, etc.) geared towards attracting mostly online students.
- Marketing and Outreach: Develop strategic and targeted email marketing campaigns designed to increase engagement and relationship building for all students with an emphasis on non-traditional/online students.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree required and 2 years of experience working in higher education
- Experience working with domestic and international college-bound students.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills.
- Experience in a marketing and communications role with a focus on print and
- digital strategies.
- Demonstrated digital literacy and experience with content management systems.
- Proven editorial planning, content creation and copy-editing skills.
- Experience with customer relationship management tools.
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a fulltime basis.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree.
- Experience with Creative design tools and platforms.
- Experience in marketing and digital analytics.
- Experience in recruitment and admissions in a college/university setting or community-based organization setting.
