This position will be a Senior Assistant Director or an Assistant Director, depending on the qualifications and experience of the candidate.
The Office of Undergraduate Admissions recruits potential applicants and selects students for the School of Arts & Sciences, School of Engineering, and the School of the Museum of Fine Arts at Tufts University. The Admissions team embraces the mission of the university and the goals of the undergraduate admissions office which include attracting and enrolling a diverse cohort of first year and transfer students via a robust recruitment and enrollment initiatives plan that has equity and inclusion as its guiding principle.
Reporting to the Associate Director for International Admissions, the individual in this role will collaborate with the International team to achieve team goals and objectives including independent, and group international travel; planning and implementation of virtual or on-campus recruitment activities and events such as webinars, virtual sessions; territory management for both domestic and international geographic regions; participate in shaping admission policies, procedures, and systems relating to international students; and works with the international admissions team on other portfolio needs.
Participating in Committee Based Evaluation, the Assistant Director/ Senior Assistant Director of Admissions reads and evaluates applications as part of a team and participates in the first-year and transfer selection process, using knowledge of international schools and curriculum.
