The
Office of Graduate Medical Education invites applications for the
Chief Financial Officer. As the GME Chief Financial Officer you need a passion for excellent interpersonal and professional communication skills, database management and working with the educational programs and hospital affiliates. In this role, your primary focus will be on the financials related to the Residents and Fellows. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires someone who can support both high-level complex accounting, supervise compensation activities and contract negotiations responsibilities as well as not being afraid to dive into the details on a day-to-day basis.
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Oversee financials for University Medical/Dental Resident Services, P.C. companies
- I.R.I.S. Hospital Cost Reporting
- Annual Plan
- UB/Hospital Affiliation Agreements & Educational Program Revenue
- Non-Profit Fund Financial Oversight

The University at Buffalo Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences annually trains 850 residents and fellows to become clinicians, researchers, teachers, and leaders in their fields. The University at Buffalo Office of Graduate Medical Education provides a variety of services to support the University’s residents and fellows during their training. Office work location is 7th floor suite within UB’s Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences building, found on the Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus.
