Job Description

The University of Auckland aspires to be recognised internationally as not only New Zealand’s premier research-intensive University but also to be a major contributor to the global higher education landscape in terms of the real-world positive impact that our research, teaching and outreach have on communities across our region and across the world. As a visible and energetic ambassador for the University and a significant contributor to its senior leadership, the International Director plays a pivotal role in helping the University meet these aspirations.

You will provide strategic and policy advice to the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Strategic Engagement) whilst leading the International Office to deliver across the full breadth of the University’s internationalisation activities, including international student recruitment, profile and reputation-building activities, international partnership development and university network memberships, international student support and both inbound and outbound global mobility programmes.
