    The Centre for Digital Enablement drives the digital transformation initiatives within SIT. It works with various stakeholders, both internal and external, in upskilling digital literacy across the organization through literacy programmes and digital innovation projects in relation to the living lab.


    The Assistant Manager will be mainly responsible for the hands-on development of digital platforms such as virtual campus, blockchain platforms and/or living lab initiatives. The digital platforms will be utilized to support the development of digital competencies of academic staff and students.


    The Assistant Manager may support the development and delivery of digital skills related literacy courses to undergraduates in various programmes and staff as part of the institutional drive towards digitalization. They will also participate in and manage student projects which includes mentoring and facilitating student learning during the project.


    Key Responsibilities


    • Development of virtual campus and/or living lab which may involve but not limited to: system architecture design, implementation, testing, and documentation.

    • Support the development and delivery of digital skills literacy related courses to undergraduate students in various programmes and staff. Development of learning activities and assessment of students may form part of the responsibilities.

    • Provide support and project manage ad-hoc activities (i.e., promote awareness in digital literacy, data literacy, etc.) with project plan to track progress.


     

    Job Requirements


    • A good degree from a recognized University. Fresh graduates are welcome.

    • Proficiency in Virtual/Augmented/Extended Reality (e.g., Unity, Unreal), Web3.0/Blockchain (e.g. smart contracts in Solidity), or full-stack development with NodeJS will be an added advantage.

    • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work individually or in a team and with other divisions.

    • Innovative mindset and passion in digital technology is required.


    The successful candidate will be offered a one-year contract.
