    This role offers an opportunity for an experienced finance professional to lead and enhance our investment back-office accounting functions and consolidate treasury operations within the Finance division.


    Key Responsibilities



    • Financial Reporting: Involve in the preparation of statutory accounts related to Endowment Fund

    • Net Asset Value (NAV): Ensure timely and accurate records of the NAV of the endowment fund.

    • Reconciliation: Perform fund report and book reconciliations, and bank reconciliations.

    • Audit and Compliance: Assist in the annual audit and ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards; review internal control reports of our fund managers.

    • Transaction Processing: Handle income accruals and expenses recording.

    • Treasury Operations: Manage operating cash flow and fixed deposit placements.

    • Communication: Liaise with fund managers and university stakeholders, addressing inquiries and providing timely information.

    • Regulatory Monitoring: Stay abreast of changes in legislation relating to finance and accounting, particularly those impacting endowment funds management.


    Job Requirements



    • Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.

    • Proven experience as a fund accountant or in a similar finance/accounting role.

    • In-depth knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures.

    • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software packages such as SAP S/4Hana. 

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a meticulous eye for detail and accuracy. 

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

    • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
