Reporting to the Assistant Vice President - Planning, Design, and Construction (PDC), the Executive Director, Design and Construction (Exec. Dir. D&C) is responsible for overseeing the Construction Management Directorate for all Capital Construction Project management activities across Auburn Universities Campuses.
Functional areas of responsibility for the Executive Director, Design and Construction includes the Construction Management Directorate consisting of Pre-Construction Management, Estimating, Construction Management, and Project Support. The Exec. Dir. D&C oversees a workforce of approximately 25 staff members who manage a construction program, which annually averages over 300 projects valued at over $140M. In addition, the Exec. Dir. D&C is responsible for an average annual operating budget of $1.7 M.
