Stevens invites applications for the position of Marketing Manager to advance its reputation and impact through print and digital media. The successful candidate will establish strong working relationships with partners across the university and work collaboratively to provide responsive and expert services for the delivery of targeted marketing campaigns. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, the Marketing Manager will have experience in strategic marketing and digital advertising as well as strong technical skills and the ability to communicate effectively and to collaborate well with team members, stakeholders, and vendors. Self-motivation and the ability to handle multiple tasks while switching priorities and focuses as needed is also important.

The Marketing Manager will:

  • Assist with the targeted recruitment of domestic and international students in defined markets;
  • Develop, execute and optimize multi-channel integrated marketing campaigns for university partners;
  • Promote the university brand, academic research, relevant rankings, and achievements to multiple stakeholders and influencers locally, nationally, and internationally;
  • Provide proactive management of the university’s reputation through engagement with key audiences – both internally and externally;
  • Liaise with external partners and agencies; develop understanding of and communicate roles and responsibilities of internal and external teams;
  • Stay up-to-date with the changing face of the marketing and media landscape, especially as it relates to digital media


  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in marketing, management, or another related field plus 3-5 years of experience; experience working in higher education is a plus
  • Keen understanding of the marketing campaign process and basic marketing strategy concepts
  • Have a track record of developing and leading successful marketing and communications campaigns that achieve specific, measurable results.
  • Experience overseeing and leading the work of a group of team members and other stakeholders
  • Experience with a wide range of marketing tactics, particularly digital marketing channels (Google, Facebook/Instagram, LinkedIn)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with meticulous attention to detail


  • Google Ads and Analytics certification
