Associate Provost for Faculty Development

Reporting to the Provost and Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs, the Associate Provost for Faculty Development will support and assist the Provost and Senior Vice President in the leadership and development of all Kean University faculty members at the Union, Ocean, Skylands and Wenzhou locations and manages operations of the Center for Teaching and Learning.  The Center for Teaching and Learning is the University’s hub for examining and producing the scholarship of teaching and learning (SoTL) and supports faculty in their work and professional development. This position requires a flexible schedule including evening and weekend hours and may require travel.

 

Qualifications:  Graduation from an accredited college with a Doctorate degree and a minimum of six years of professional experience in higher education or a similar organization is required. A minimum of three years of the required experience must be in administration. Prior experience in faculty affairs and professional development is preferred. Candidate must have excellent writing and analytical skills.
