Department Summary UNT’s College of Engineering offers Bachelors, Masters and Doctoral degrees in various engineering disciplines. The College’s innovative curricula are taught by experienced faculty that will equip students with life-long learning skills in order to adapt as the industry changes and remain competitive in a global market.
Advise students of the requirements and procedures needed for completion of degrees, prepare paperwork associated with academic requirements, and graduation processing.
Strong presentation skills; strong problem solving skills.
Ability to learn and use a variety of simple to complex computer applications.
Ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations verbally and in writing.
Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships.
Ability to work independently.
The preferred candidate will possess the following additional qualifications: * Knowledge of degree programs and education requirements, admissions, and status. * Ability to conduct interviews and counsel with students. * Ability to make decisions in accordance with established University regulations and policies. * Ability to make computations and tabulations rapidly and accurately. * Tact, diplomacy, judgment required in dealing with others.
