Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU) seeks candidates for a full-time position of Vice President for Enrollment Management (VPEM). This position reports to the President and will serve as a member of the President’s Core Leadership Team. The VPEM leads recruitment and enrollment efforts across the Daytona Beach, Prescott and Worldwide campuses, and is responsible for the creation of a recruitment program based upon quantitative analysis, strategic decision making and continuous improvement.
Responsible for recruitment and admissions of all students including undergraduate and graduate, residential and online, transfer students, international students, etc.
Develop and implement an enrollment strategy that supports ERAU’s Strategic Plan, specifically "Goal 1 – Develop an enrollment vision and an associated management plan that supports ERAU’s unique identity and mission."
Lead in the development and expansion of data analytics to support strategic enrollment management, measure current initiatives and objectives and develop predictive models for enrollment.
Engage, support and manage direct reports by establishing measurable goals and objectives for all areas along with strategic plans to achieve those goals.
Effectively establish cooperative and respectful working relationships across all three campuses, especially with enrollment management staff and senior management.
Assist department managers in the development and management of complex budgets aligning resources with strategic priorities. Develop budget practices and procedures that allow the division to meet its administrative obligations and maintain a balanced budget.
Increase transfer and graduate enrollment.
Identify opportunities to improve overall retention prior to enrollment to the University.
Oversee all enrollment management operations based on a deep understanding of best practices, research and current trends in higher education recruitment and retention.
Responsible for content and design for all enrollment communications including print, digital and third-party supported messaging, ensuring it is consistent with overarching ERAU strategies.
Overseeing a group charged with developing a digital strategy to be used in meeting the Strategic Plan enrollment goals.
Work with the President, CFO, and campus leadership to develop enrollment plans that make prudent use of Institutional Aid, including discount rate and philanthropy, to achieve strategic objectives and contribute to a positive fiscal environment.
Desired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
A global view of enrollment management and knowledge of best practices in order to enhance all marketing and brand positioning efforts, lead generation and conversion, legal and regulatory requirements, and financial aid. Practical knowledge of enrollment programs, market research and analysis, communication techniques, and management and supervisory techniques.
Highly efficient, effective, and results-oriented individual with strong business acumen, proven experience leading, motivating, and managing a team, and knowledge of best practices and current trends in the enrollment field.
Experience with current and emerging technology (hardware and software solutions) related to recruitment, admissions and financial aid, including expertise with enrollment management systems and web-based recruitment efforts.
Experience in developing and designing communication flows and marketing materials including web and other digital content related to enrollment management.

Demonstrated knowledge and experience to develop and execute an innovative enrollment plan integrated with Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University’s public image and overall branding strategy.
Proven ability to operate within current budgets and fiscal constraints.
Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and use good judgment, discretion, and sensitivity while handling issues.
Strong knowledge of the lead acquisition industry and experience with paid advertising, conversion marketing and the latest interactive technologies.

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field required, master’s degree preferred.
Demonstrated leadership in higher education with a minimum of five years of supervisory experience.
Demonstrated experience developing and executing program budgets as part of long-range strategic planning.
Excellent organizational skills, with a strong ability to effectively and efficiently manage records and other information.
Strong collaborator with excellent communication skills and outstanding integrity.
Strong computer/technology skills with experience using higher education student services information CRM’s. Knowledge and experience of Salesforce CRM preferred.
Proven success in setting and meeting enrollment goals.
