The CEO will have the responsibility of implementation of development strategy, overall directions and management, property development, finance and accounting, technology transfer, marketing and promotion, animations and linkages, facilities management, and property owner functions. The CEO will recruit, oversee and develop a professional team to perform a wide range of business, engagement and communications functions focused on the creation and execution of a world-class innovation community, including the science park development; interface with site developers; infrastructure development, branding, marketing, programming and public relations; financial management; facilities maintenance; business development and fundraising; and community outreach. In addition to managing the professional team and working with the Upper University Management and Board of Directors, the CEO will carry out a critical and visible external role, collaborating with community leaders and public officials at all levels of government, business partners, academic officials, research scientists and entrepreneurs.
