Overview

Tufts Gordon Institute (TGI) at Tufts University is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic full-time Senior Assistant Director of Admissions to work with the TGI admissions team to help identify suitable applications for our popular graduate programs.
Part of the Tufts University School of Engineering, the Tufts Gordon Institute (TGI) fosters and inspires individuals to become leaders capable of addressing the challenges of the 21st century and is also home of the Derby Entrepreneurship Center (DEC). TGI offers minors in entrepreneurship and engineering management for Tufts undergraduates, a Master of Science in engineering management for technology professionals, a Master of Science in innovation and management for recent STEM graduates, a forthcoming Master of Science in Technology Management, and professional education programs tailored to the needs of practicing engineers.


What You'll Do

The Senior Assistant Director of Admissions leads the implementation of TGI’s recruitment/admissions plan to deliver an efficient and effective admissions experience that fulfills enrollment goals set by the leadership team. She/he serves as a primary point of contact for all prospective students; plans and conducts information sessions; represents the university at schools, college fairs, and other specialized recruitment events; reads, interviews, and evaluates applications for admission; and co-chairs the selection committee. He/she manages the tracking and reporting of key admissions performance metrics and makes recommendations for actions to achieve enrollment objectives. The Senior Assistant Director of Admissions also plays a lead role in the development of recruitment strategies and works in collaboration with the marketing team to develop recruitment materials, communications, and special events for prospective students.


What We're Looking For

Basic Requirements:


• Bachelor’s Degree and 5-6 years of directly related professional experience.


Preferred Qualifications:


• Educational background in a STEM field or professional experience in the technology sector.

 

Pay Range

Minimum $56,600.00, Midpoint $70,800.00, Maximum $85,000.00

Salary is based on related experience, expertise, and internal equity; generally, new hires can expect pay between the minimum and midpoint of the range.
