Job Summary
The Student Affairs Business Office is seeking candidates for the position of Assistant Director, Fiscal Administration. This position reports directly to the Director of Finance for Student Affairs and assists the director in all fiscal matters of the assigned portfolio. The individual in this position provides varied and high-level professional and technical support to the director by assisting with the financial management of a portfolio of accounts within the division. The individual in this position will perform complex professional financial management and accounting duties for several auxiliary, student fee, and centrally funded units within the Division of Student Affairs.

Essential Functions
1. Performs accounting and financial duties to include preparing, examining, reviewing, and/or analyzing accounting records, financial statements and other financial reports and identifying and implementing corrective actions to ensure conformity with university policies and federal/state laws, rules, and regulations.
2. Oversees and prepares operating budgets and monitors other specialized reports on a regular or ad hoc basis for several auxiliary, student fee, and central units to ensure compliance with regulations and guidelines.
3. Prepares and records revenue and expense entries by compiling and analyzing account information to include managing the deferment of revenues and expenses.
4. Prepares and/or reviews financial transactions to include purchasing card transactions and reconciliations, vendor vouchers, travel vouchers, purchase requisitions, departmental error corrections and other transactions.
5. Advises and assists the departments with financial activities to include budgets, contracts, accounts payable, accounts receivables, reserves management, and operational activities.
6. Supports the Director of Finance in modeling 10-year forecasts and financial pro formas for several units within Student Affairs, to include financial planning for debt and capital projects.
