Primary Purpose of Position
Mentor, coach and manage staff responsible for the customer service support and student-facing data management processes in the University Registrar’s Office, including Records, Registration, Graduation, and Transcripts. These groups are responsible for the walk-in support of students with registration and enrollment questions and concerns, processing outgoing transcripts, diplomas, and certifications, maintenance and updates of university student records, Degree Works (degree audit), and undergraduate degree conferral.
Primary Function of Organizational Unit
The primary purpose of the Office of the Registrar is to provide support service to students, faculty and staff in an efficient and timely manner. Responsibilities and activities included in these support services are certification of enrollment status, withdrawal of students from classes, honoring transcript requests, maintaining academic records.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution; five years of experience in a Registrar’s Office; knowledge of Banner; knowledge of Degree Works
Preferred Years Experience, Skills, Training, Education
Experience as an associate or assistant registrar; experience with registration, certification, transcripts, and records management; supervisory experience; problem-solving skills; strong communication skills.
