The Assistant Director for Transfer, Evaluations, and Articulations is a leader in the Office of Registration and Records who provides oversight for transfer credit evaluations, articulation agreements, graduation audits, and final verification of graduation requirements at Northern Illinois University. The Assistant Director is the subject matter expert on university, state, and federal initiatives related to transfer credit and articulation agreements, provides training and education for Registration and Records staff and other campus departments, and promotes a student-centered and equity-minded approach to student credit transfer and degree completion. This position leverages current and emerging technologies to increase the efficiency and student-friendliness of transfer, evaluation, and articulation procedures and stays current with changes in policy and procedures that affect admission, transfer, and graduation processes. The Assistant Director is responsible for interviewing, training, developing, and evaluating four Admission/Records Representatives and one Admission/Records Coordinator. This position acts as the transfer coordinator of the university, and reports to the Department Director/University Registrar.
