What You'll Do

The Enrollment Analysis and Systems Manager supports the design and implementation of enrollment strategies using data analysis, market research, and modeling to develop clear and effective enrollment management policies and practices. Manages the day-to-day admissions technology, including Slate and its related system integrations, as well as reporting out of admissions systems. Responsible for forecasting enrollment targets and reporting on both general industry trends and specific impacts on Fletcher’s enrollments objectives. Creates statistical models in the support the implementation of recruitment and retention activities across the school’s degree programs.


Essential Functions:

  • Manages data analysis in support of the school’s enrollment management strategy including compliance, accountability, institutional initiatives, school initiatives, and meeting enrollment and revenue targets. Reports on current and projected enrollment trends by degree program, and in support of departmental, school, and institutional enrollment objectives and outcomes.
  • Compiles and analyzes market research data from peer institutions, economic, and market factors and produces routine and ad hoc reports for leadership within admissions and the dean’s office.
  • Creates and interprets enrollment and related revenue forecasts, follows industry enrollment trends and their application to Fletcher degree programs, and maintains historical and longitudinal records of Fletcher prospect, admissions, and enrollment data.
  • Manages admissions technology, including maintenance, upgrades, and system implementation to support admissions, enrollment management, and enrollment reporting.
  • Provides statistical modeling for routine and ad hoc decision-making at the department- and school-level.
  • Oversees admissions customer relationship systems in Slate, including Slate messaging functionality, communication streams to prospective and admitted students, and data transfer to SIS and other systems. Manages all data integrations with Slate in conjunction with Tufts Technology Services.
  • Participates in recruitment and retention activities, including travel, as required.

What We're Looking For

Basic Requirements:

  • Knowledge and skills as typically acquired through completion of Bachelor's degree with 5 -7 years of experience
  • Proven experience and demonstrated success in the management of higher education admissions and student records systems and student data
  • Working knowledge of higher education enrollment management, admissions, or institutional research roles
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Ability to collaborate and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • A commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion goals in enrollment management and higher education practice

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree or 7-10 years of experience in higher education enrollment management, admissions, or institutional research roles
  • Expert knowledge of higher education enrollment management systems and integrations across various platforms and channels
  • Intermediate knowledge of Slate and PeopleSoft student systems
  • Familiarity with global affairs issues

Pay Range

Minimum $91,100.00, Midpoint $113,900.00, Maximum $136,700.00

Salary is based on related experience, expertise, and internal equity; generally, new hires can expect pay between the minimum and midpoint of the range.
