The College of Business and Public Management is composed of four schools - Criminal Justice and Public Administration; Accounting and Finance; Management and Marketing; and Global Business. The College also hosts a New Jersey Small Business Development Center, DECA and FBLA.
Reporting to the Dean, the Associate Dean assists with college-wide administration, including the development of degree programs, budget management and faculty recruitment and appointment processes. The primary responsibility of the Associate Dean will be to lead and prepare the College in complying with Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business International (AACSB) standards and collaborate with faculty and committees to develop and update policies and procedures relevant to AACSB accreditation.
Qualifications: Doctorate degree or appropriate terminal degree in Business or a closely related field and a minimum of four years of progressive experience in a higher education environment combining academic instruction and administration or the equivalent is required as determined by the university. Candidate must have demonstrated knowledge of and experience with AACSB standards. Excellent organizational, interpersonal, analytical, time management and oral and written communication skills are essential. Experience working in the NJ collective bargaining unit environment, a commitment to service and scholarly excellence and experience mentoring faculty in research and peer-reviewed publications is preferred.
