Opportunity The College of Aeronautics and Engineering seeks candidates for Associate Dean, Research and Faculty Affairs to assist the Dean in carrying out the university research mission. The Associate Dean will be responsible for providing support to facilitate research and scholarly productivity of faculty and students; will be tasked with developing support structures to increase sponsored research; will expand the college's present research portfolio and strengthen existing partnerships; will provide leadership in developing new graduate programs at both MS and PhD levels; will provide leadership in building collaborative and interdisciplinary research opportunities; will act as the college liaison to Research and Sponsored Programs, Technology Transfer, and University Graduate Studies; and will assist in the preparation of IRB proposals. Additionally, the Associate Dean will develop faculty mentoring programs to enhance success of our faculty and will be responsible for faculty promotion and tenure review.

Qualifications: Doctorate degree in engineering or related field. Ten years' experience in building and managing a funded research program. Appointment includes faculty status in the College with rank and/or tenure eligibility to be determined based on the candidate's academic credentials.
