The University at Buffalo is recruiting an Executive Director of Advancement for the College of Arts and Science, a key leadership position in the Division of University Advancement. With 29 departments, 16 academic programs, and 23 centers and institutes, the College offers more academic options than any other unit on campus.
Working with a talented team of fundraising and advancement services professionals to achieve the goals of the historic $650 million Boldly Buffalo campaign (the largest campaign in SUNY history), we seek a motivated and experienced fundraising leader who will help generate the philanthropy that will transform our students, empower our faculty and improve our world.
- Leading a comprehensive fundraising program for the College of Arts and Sciences in support of College and campaign priorities.
- Working closely with the Senior Associate Vice President for Advancement and the Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences as well as key faculty in identifying, cultivating, soliciting and stewarding prospects and donors capable of making gifts and commitments in the six- and seven-figure range.
- Executes approximately 100 face-to-face visits per year. The incumbent must be able to travel up to 50% of the time, including overnight and occasional weekends.
