The Assistant Director for Student Life provides oversight and planning for the development, implementation, and evaluation of student life programs, services, and activities in the Honors College

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree and at least 4 years relevant experience in student programming or services, student affairs, or other professionally related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Strong presentation skills.
Strong problem solving skills.
Ability to use a variety of computer applications.
Ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations verbally and in writing.
Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships.
Ability to work independently and lead project teams effectively.
Considerable knowledge of University policies and procedures related to functional area (or ability to rapidly assimilate).
Ability to handle a variety of difficult, sensitive issues while maintaining confidentiality and tact.
