Asst. Director of Annual Giving

Position Category: Staff - Full-Time


Responsible for overseeing the proper movement of donors through the donor pipeline through cultivation and management of donors capable of giving $1,000-$25,000. Also responsible for the development of donor retention strategies for the alumni relations and annual giving team and management of the 1941 society of loyal donors.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in related field plus 2 years of related experience or a combination of related education/experience totaling or 6 years.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of annual giving solicitation models and the development of marketing communications plans and programs.
  • Previous experience in annual giving and marketing communications is preferred.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Skill to accurately track and report all contact and solicitation efforts.
  • Ability to work as a cohesive member of the annual giving team, work independently and make independent decisions.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree in marketing communications or related field.
Experience leading annual giving campaigns or marketing communication programs.

Physical Requirements:

Working some nights and weekends, or extended hours as needed.

Pay Range: $38,062 - $50,750
