Position Summary
The University at Buffalo (SUNY) is seeking an Assistant Director UB Curriculum (UBC), who provides comprehensive programmatic support for the university-wide UB General Education Curriculum, to ensure sufficient and effective delivery. The Assistant Director supports day-to-day operations of the UBC office. The UB Curriculum: General Education office within the Undergraduate Education department at the University at Buffalo (UB), seeks to hire a highly responsible, self-directed and detail-oriented professional to serve as Assistant Director UB Curriculum (UBC).

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Provides management of the university-wide undergraduate curriculum.
Responsible for data analysis and reporting including: extracting information from various sources, creates and maintains spreadsheets of current and historical data and provides data analysis.
Coordinate and manage annual assessment of UB Curriculum components as well as assist with Undergraduate Education-wide assessment activities.
Assist Director with the development and achievement of unit goals and initiatives as well as contribute to the continuous improvement of the university-wide general education curriculum.
Manage enrollment for UBC 399: UB Curriculum Capstone as well as all logistics related to the other components of the UB Curriculum.
Serve as the main point of contact for student and advisement support and ensures student records are accurate.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree with two (2) years experience working with undergraduates in a higher education environment or in areas such as general education, student success, assessment, academic advisement, records and enrollment and with competencies in the following areas:
Proficient with Microsoft Office, with advanced knowledge of Excel.
Experience managing large projects where time management and work prioritization is critical.
Strong analytical and technical skills including data analysis skills and reporting.
Exceedingly well organized, possess high attention to detail and display accuracy in all areas of responsibility.
Strong communication skills, including verbal and written.
Able to work independently with minimal direction, self-motivated and proactive.
Ability to investigate information or problems, synthesize and present findings.

Preferred Qualifications
3 years of higher education experience in one or more of the following areas; academic advisement, curriculum management, undergraduate education.
Working knowledge of the program and course-level assessment.
Proficiency in MS Access, SQL and/or relational databases.
Experience with supervision.
