Tufts University Advancement division seeks a dynamic, experienced Development professional to serve as an Executive Director, University Advancement with a focus on health sciences and corporate and foundation relations.

The Tufts University Advancement Division (UA) is a development and alumni relations enterprise with approximately 200 full-time employees. Units within UA include development/fundraising, alumni engagement, donor relations and stewardship, special events, gift processing, research and prospect management, and information systems and management. UA’s mission is to build strong, lifelong relationships with Tufts University's constituents, match donors; interests with the University’s needs and priorities, and secure the financial resources necessary for Tufts to achieve excellence in teaching, research, and scholarship. Reporting to the Vice President for Development, the Executive Director of University Advancement is a member of the Senior Management Team (SMT).  The Executive Director directly oversee the development and alumni engagement functions for the health sciences professional schools and corporate and foundation relations.  They will work in close partnership with the VP and other members of the SMT to successfully undertake the strategic planning, design, and implementation of all fundraising and alumni engagement programs and initiatives, helping to ensure the alignment of the Division’s goals, objectives, and resources with the strategic and academic priorities of the University.
