This position serves as the decision-making authority with regard to recruitment activities, working closely with key academic leaders, the Marketing Director, and related program managers to enroll students in Morrison Family College of Health programs. This position builds and leads the strategy for recruiting prospective students; identifies, coordinates and oversees activities that enhance recruitment efforts; and works with all stakeholders and support entities to ensure timely and quality deliverables. This role requires a combination of on the ground support with outreach and event coordination and support along with the ability to identify strategies for recruitment in the academic programs of the Morrison Family College of Health. This position reports to the Dean of the College of Health.
Responsible for establishing and monitoring end-to-end systems for recruitment and works closely with Program Managers, and/or Graduate Enrollment:
Oversees and implements recruitment function for Morrison Family College of Health programs, and develops strategies for: lead nurturing and relationship management, recruitment event management, application support, and internal coordination
Advises and assists other college personnel in identifying key metrics of success and assists as possible in obtaining appropriate outcomes measures for strategy development
Maintains currency in the field and uses that knowledge to proactively advise the Dean, the Marketing Director, Associate Dean, and academic chairs/directors with regard to recruitment efforts
Analyzes and reports information regarding impact and effectiveness of all recruitment efforts
Establishes and actively manages robust lead nurturing communication programs to move prospective students through the admissions funnel toward enrollment
Prepares and manages the recruitment and enrollment budget
Functions as both a strategic, big picture leader as well as a hands-on, problem solving manager of day-to-day processes for admissions
Responsible for overseeing and executing all recruitment activities and interaction with prospective students and applicants:
Identifies and prioritizes externally organized on- and off-campus recruitment events and enlists appropriate faculty and staff to attend events and promote College of Health programs. Attends select events and promotes College of Health programs by interacting directly with prospective students.
Identifies marketing support needs for recruitment efforts and works with Marketing Director to develop assets to aid in communication with prospective students.
Works with Program Managers/Graduate Enrollment Managers to produce reliable measures that can be used for targeted recruitment
Works with department chairs, program directors and managers to organize recruitment events and info sessions hosted by the College of Health. Coordinates event details and presenters and manages relationships with attendees.
Fields inquiries from prospective students and provides personal, high-touch support throughout application process.
Supports institutional undergraduate enrollment efforts and partners with school directors and department chairs to provide support for undergraduate recruitment activities for majors within the College of Health.
Leads establishment of Internal and External Recruitment Partnerships:
Establish and maintain a strong, collaborative and coordinated relationship with cross-functional partners and team members throughout the university, using those relationships to develop and lead recruitment strategies that increase the quantity and quality of applicants to college programs.
Works collaboratively with the offices of University Advancement and Marketing, Insights and Communications, as well as Graduate Enrollment Managers and additional informational venues to gather information about the prospective student landscape and competitor recruitment efforts.
Acts as the college’s representative to all university-wide recruitment and enrollment committees and task forces.
Works with the Marketing, Insights and Analytics office, the Innovation & Technology Services office and other offices as appropriate to support the vitality of our CRM and other databases.
Serves as a member of the Morrison Leadership Team, to advance recruitment efforts and align graduate recruitment and enrollment with University priorities
Stays on the forefront of knowledge related to graduate recruitment and enrollment for fields within the Morrison College of Health
Manages key projects that will advance a Salesforce ecosystem that supports graduate education
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or another closely related field
Five years of relevant professional level experience in recruitment, marketing, or sales
An equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills have been acquired may be substituted.
An advanced degree in a relevant field
