Computing/Informational Services Administration - General
We are looking for a Senior Enterprise Applications Project Manager to drive the successful implementation of Simmons' Student Information System (Workday Student). Reporting to the Senior Director of Enterprise Applications, you will serve as the lead and liaison for the Student Information System project with business and Information Technology teams, creating and managing technical project plans and resources while ensuring the effective delivery of the project on time and within budget. This is a 24-month term position.

Plan, coordinate and monitor all project activities, ensuring all deliverables meet quality and performance level expectations
Identify and facilitate the resolution project issues with the project team, internal and external resources
Coordinate meetings with project teams including, technical, functional, and other University teams and/or constituents as needed
Manage and control project activities in accordance with plans/schedules while making adjustments to improve project flow and facilitating project flow by ensuring team members are aware of tasks and expected deliverables
Manage the work of the project management team including other project managers and change management lead
Coordinate and facilitate communication across multiple stakeholders/sponsors, including senior leadership
Provide weekly project status reports; provide solutions and risk mitigations
Oversee and manage the project budget
Manage relationships with multiple software and service vendors
Perform other duties as necessary
Bachelor's degree required
7+ years of relevant experience leading and/or managing complex IT projects
Extensive knowledge of enterprise application systems
Experience managing projects in complex organizations
Proven ability to work independently and keep project team members focused on project tasks
Excellent verbal/written communication, interpersonal, and public speaking skills
Sound project management knowledge, skills and abilities
Attention to detail and ability to achieve results
Project Management Institute Project Management Professional certification a plus
Experience in a higher education environment preferred but not required
Experience with Workday, especially Workday Student a plus
