The University of North Texas (UNT) Student Health and Wellness center is a full service medical center offering general wellness and specialty medical care to all UNT students. The Student Health and Wellness Center is staffed with licensed physicians, nurse practitioners, pharmacists, certified lab technologists, psychiatrists, registered nurses, registered dietitians, radiology technicians, and massage therapists.

To oversee and direct the clinical staff and services of the SHWC and to ensure quality medical care is provided to the students of UNT.
Medical degree from an accredited medical school; Board Certification or Board Eligible from a recognized board of the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) or American Osteopathic Association (AOA); and six years medical administration experience including supervisory experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Ability to practice medicine within the scope of license, training and credentials.
- Demonstrated knowledge and skill in evaluating, planning, implementing individual patient care.
- Knowledge of applicable local, state and federal laws and regulations governing the practice of medicine.
- Ability to care for a diverse patient population.
- Strong management and supervisory skills and abilities.
- Knowledge of safety and security precautions appropriate to work performed.
-Previous college healthcare experience
-Previous experience in a director-level clinical role
-Previous experience with an electronic health record system, preferably Medicat
