$50,000 or higher depending on education, experience and FTE
The Director of Diversity, Inclusion & Outreach for the College of Engineering manages the operational, fiscal, strategic, communication and programmatic aspects of the College of Engineering's diversity plan. They will direct, coordinate and develop programs to enhance the culture of inclusion and contribute significantly to the diversification of the college's student body. They will liaise with various departments and offices including Diversity and Equity units, Admissions, Financial Aid, and Development, as well as develop partnerships with external organization and affiliated groups.
Earned Bachelors degree
Structured training in Diversity & Inclusion or experience relevant to the position regarding diversity and inclusion programs or initiatives
Planning and implementing projects including managing the development of projects, timelines, assessment and reporting
Collecting, compiling, analyzing information into documents and reports and developing recommendations for management/administrators
Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with stakeholders from varying backgrounds
Knowledge and/or appreciation of the engineering profession
5 years of experience teaching or advising students in higher education
Knowledge of higher education relating to student services, university regulations and procedures; analyzing and interpreting data
Excellent interpersonal skills
Excellent written communication skills
Experience giving presentations to a diverse audience

The hiring FTE for this position is negotiable between .67 and 1.0 FTE.
