Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, a member of the prestigious Association of American Universities and one of the oldest and most highly regarded institutions of higher education in the nation, is seeking a new Dean for the School of Business at Rutgers-Camden:

The School of Business which is fully accredited by the AACSB, offers Bachelor’s degrees in Accounting, Finance, Human Resource Management, Management and Marketing, an MBA and a J.D./MBA with the School of Law-Camden. The School of Business serves nearly 600 Undergraduates and 300 MBA Students. It has an annual budget of $7 million and 35 full-time Faculty Members. Faculty scholarship is ranked highly, in terms of impact and scope and Faculty publish in the top scholarly journals in their fields.
As the School’s chief academic and administrative officer, the Dean reports to the Chancellor of Rutgers-Camden and is responsible for providing leadership and vision for the School at a time of great opportunity.
The School seeks a leader who will support high quality research and teaching and be an active and visible participant in the business community. Accordingly, the Dean must demonstrate highly developed skills in strategic planning and organizational leadership. S/he must also possess a deep appreciation of the role and function of scholarly work.
The ideal candidate will be a collaborative and engaged leader, who demonstrates a commitment to the core values of the University and School of Business. S/he will champion the development of programs across the disciplines and across the University and serve as an articulate spokesperson to all appropriate constituencies, including business and government leaders.
