Job Description

This position oversees the growth and development of club sport student-athletes. The position is responsible for communicating departmental and team rules and educating the students regarding policies and procedures outlined in the club sports handbook.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of a competitive Club Bowling program.
  • Plan and attend all team practices home and away contests.
  • Organize the team’s schedule and coordinate team travel.
  • Work together to ensure a positive and collaborative team environment for all club members. Facilitate purchases for team travel expenses and reconcile all purchase card transactions.
  • Additional duties to be determined by the Director of Campus Recreation.

Qualifications:

Education:

  •     Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred.

Experience:

  •     Previous coaching experience at the collegiate level is strongly preferred.

Specialized Licenses:

  • First Aid, CPR, AED training certification required or obtained upon employment.

Specific Skills:

  • Must be willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
