Rider University invites applications for a Director of Public Safety. This individual will provide leadership for and manage the Department of Public Safety which is responsible for policy and code of conduct enforcement, parking and traffic enforcement, incident and emergency response, fire safety, Clery compliance, crime prevention and other safety services and education.
Qualified candidate must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice or related field, a Master’s degree is preferred. Additionally the successful individual must possess: significant experience in higher education public safety or police administration; demonstrated leadership, management and communications skills; knowledge of best practice in college and university public safety; and a valid driver’s license.
